A Ride to El Chaltén
The road from the border was awful. A dirt road full of rocks and gravel. Over 100 km of it. A featureless terrain, quite boring. The next day there was another dirt section, even longer. Absolutely awful. And more nasty xwind. But the end was worth it. Riding toward El Chalten and Mount Fitzroy was mesmerizing. I couldn’t stop taking pictures. One guy stopped ahead of me so I start taking photos of him. Pretty cool. The end of the day made me forget those miserable hours I spent on the gravel road today.
