5. Salt Cathedral
Leaving Bogotá and heading north. Interesting buildings on the way and end up in cute little town of Zipaquirá. There is an abonded salt mine which was converted into some kind of a cathedral. Pretty touristy but cool. It is hard to convey the scale. I took my tripod with me and my “good” lens so I can take some decent pictures with limited light underground. Zoom in to see the details. Interestingly, this town was completely deserted in the evening unlike any latino cities.
