11. Carretera Austral
This portion of the road is from Rio Tranquilo to Cochrane and to Villa O’Higgins. That’s where the Ruta 7 or Carretera Austral ends its 1247 km journey. There are only lakes and high mountains after that. Beautiful scenery however, the road is extremely dusty with many cars.

I've never seen so many glaciers, and I have one literally in my backyard at home
If you like nature, you would love it here
