A long day along the coast. The highway follows the coastline and is virtually deserted. The most of the traffic is about 60km inland on the Panamerican Highway. Beautiful views on the coast and it is much cooler by the the ocean as well. Until you have to leave and drive 250+km through the desert all the way to San Pedro de Atacama, my destination and a base for the next 3 weeks
