5. Illegally in Argentina
I rode eastbound today, looking for some roads to explore. And there are no shortage of those. Beautiful landscape and I even found lagoons with pink flamingos. I was busy looking around that I didn’t realize that I am at Argentinian border. Of course I had to cross it and take bunch of pictures. Just because I can. On way back I caught up with Sander, a Dutch cyclist. He's riding his bike from Patagonia all the way up to top of Columbia. But the altitude was a little bit too much for him today so I made sure that he gets to San Pedro safely tonight.
I had to put my sticker up there as well
good think I have a large tank
the road is almost all above 4,300m. The effect of hight altitude is huge
another one
young vicuña is chilling
her buddies are busy having lunch
one of the observatories
Sander is cycling from Ushuaia up to Colombia. R.E.S.P.E.C.T
packs very lightly
but he needed a little help today
I found a lagoon with lots of flamingos
they look very cool in flight
there is nobody around
this is Argentina border
the checkpoint is further down the road
I am sure nobody cares if I cross the border here
