It was an early wake up call today, again. I know, there is starting to be a pattern here… The reason today was again, taking pictures. And you have to get up early for that. I didn’t have time during the week when I was in school so I have to do all the fun stuff on weekends. It is always nice weather here in the morning with afternoon T-storms. I planned a short ride today. Just a loop north of the city. A very narrow and STEEP road with some very cool views. There is no flat piece of land in sight here. And the most of the fields here are built on impossibly steep slopes. Lot of terrace fields here. The volcanic soil is very rich with nutrients so they grow everything here. From bananas to coffee. It is hard to get anywhere fast not because of the roads but because I stop every few hundred meters to take pictures. The loop today was 20 km and it took me over an hour … But I have cool pictures.
